Heat pita bread in oven. When its done getting warm take the pita bread out spread the hummus on if you decide you want to add cous cous ( add garlic, chopped onion, tomatoes, lemon juice to the cous cous) put it on top of the hummus.
Sprinkle fresh basil, green onion, onions, lettuce, and taco sauce on top if you'd like.
The cous cous is really good on top and I also like to add the taco sauce, my brother and I love it.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I made one like this the other night!  It is the best!  I  topped mine with roasted eggplant, peppers, onion, grape tomatoes  and zucchini ( roasted with olive oil, 1/8 tsp each cumin and cinnamon, S&P) and of course, fresh basil. I also heated my hummus on the pita with the vegs about 10 min at 400F..
