Vegan Alfredo Sauce
olive oil (enough to cover bottom of the pot)
2 3/4 teaspoons flour
2 cups non dairy milk (I use almond)
Small palm-full vegan parmesan cheeze
Handfull of vegan cheddar cheeze
1 teaspoon salt (or more depending on taste)
Pepper (to taste)
1/8 onion
2 small cloves of garlic (or 1 large clove), in paste or finely minced
Diced cherry tomatoes
Pinch of oregano (dry)
Pinch of basil (dry)
2 pinches parsley (dry)
3 teaspoons vegan sour cream
1. Heat oil in a pan and add flour. Let sit for a minute, then add herbs.
2. Stir and let sit for another minute or two. Add the onion and garlic; stir semi-constantly as not to burn the flour.
3. Cook until it becomes a lighter brown color. Add "milk" and everything else until you acheive a nice creamy texture. Use on pizza or pasta.
