Raw Oatmeal with Cranberries

What you need:

2 tablespoons cranberries
Apple juice
1 handful oat sprouts
1 handful wheat sprouts
1 banana

What you do:

1) Put about two tablespoons of cranberries in some apple juice to soak.
2) Take a handful of oat sprouts and a few handfuls of wheat sprouts and mix them together in a bowl. Peel the banana and mash in the bowl with the sprouts. Mix until you have a crunchy sprout banana consistency. You may have to add more sprouts. Strain the cranberries and stir in. Enjoy!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

i have read that most oats are not raw they are steamed in the harvesting process. So I've been sproutin quinoa which is a great substitute and usually raw, especially if found organic. I like the simplicity of the recipe... basically make a bowl of cereal out of it! Wonderful - thank you - I have a bowl of sprouting quinoa and wondered how to make that into breakfast without blending. Awesome.
