SO HOW'D IT GO?

was good for a couple of days. pleased to report less wind probs than with even cooked chickpeas suprisingly. just still doesnt quite taste right tho, i think sprouting definatly makes it taste too green.

ive just made this pretty much to recipe, only change is i wizzed in some raw sesame seeds at the end in the hope they will bulk out and make it creamier, shall find out when i do dindins later as im leaving it to sit in the fridge till then. from initial tasting i would say this is very similar in flavours to hummus, the only change being you can taste the rawness of the chickpeas, most certainly not unpleasant, just unusual, it will be intersting to see the wind factor the raw chick peas cause, i know what my husband is capable of ;)

shall report tomorrow, wish me luck

I sprouted the chickpeas for three days (sprouts were between 2 mm and 1.2 cm). I had just under a cup in the end. It tasted a little 'green', so I added an extra clove of garlic--now it actually tastes somewhat like 'real' hummus. Great recipie!

I just use a whole can of chick peas (so you don't have to soak them) and maybe like 4 tablespoons of tahini.  You can also use a lot more garlic. I do but either way it tastes great.

You can also chop 1 little green jalipeno peper and mix in it after you're done blending, eat with tortilla chips or toasted pita bread.

but then it ain't raw!
you don't worry about sprouting the chickpeas? they are soft enough just soaked?
