"Pumpkin Pie" Waffles

What you need: 

1 cup pureed pumpkin (home-made or tinned, but not pumpkin pie mix)
1/2 cup soy milk
3/4 to 1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup sugar

What you do: 

1. In a large bowl, add to pumpkin sugar and milk and mix well.
2. Sift onto wet mixture dry ingredients, mix in but do not over-mix.
3. Cook in waffle-iron.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

so when i first made these, i was really frustrated. i added more milk to make it more like the batters i normally use, but that made it too runny. so this recipe definitely needs more flour than usual and it will not look liquidy. it also needed to be cooked in the waffle iron twice or else it fell apart. once i got around those blocks, it was good!
