1/2 cup pumpkin
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
enough water to form dough (bout 1/4 cup, add in tablespoons)

SO HOW'D IT GO?

hmm.. might turned out like bread.  it's definitely not dense like a sausage or anything.. it has a crispy crust and is bready inside.  it really puffed up while it baked too, this was my first seitan log attempt so i dont know if thats the norm or anything.  any ideas what went wrong?

did you wrap it really super tight in the foil? also, making two smaller logs might help.

Thank you for posting this...I never thought of mixing stuff like pumpkin into seitan, and I never baked a "log" in foil before.  It turned out great, except the first time I tried I made the log too thick and the inside wasn't quite done.
This is so easy and good, it is easily one of my favorite recipes ever!!!
Thanks, stars!! 8)
