Hot Carob Cocoa Drink

What you need:

1 cup soymilk (I use light Silk)
1/2 cup water (or additional soymilk)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 to 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
3 to 4 tablespoons unsweetened carob powder
3 - 1.8 gram packets Stevia powder, or other sweetener
1 tablespoon maple syrup or other liquid sweetener (optional)

What you do:

This hot drink makes a very tasty, filling drink. It's somewhat light as well. It also may be good with rich coffee added.
1) Combine soymilk, water, and vanilla extract into a pot and heat over high heat. When fairly hot, blend in dry ingredients. Stir well, until all clumps are gone. Pour into your favorite mug. Sip, relax and enjoy =)

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I highly recommend using a tiny bit of agave nectar as a sweetener in this recipe.

I have been trying to find uses for carob powder that I have. This recipe turned out to be good! I liked using both cocoa and carob.
