Chocolate-Banana-Cherry Smoothie

What you need:

3/4 to one cup chocolate soy, oat, or rice milk
1/2 to one ripe banana
2 to 5 frozen, pitted sweet cherries
ice cubes
sweetener of choice (optional)

What you do:

Depending on how thick, or how much of this smoothie you want, just follow the amounts above,
You can find frozen organic sweet cherries in your freezer section.
Place about half the chocolate soy milk in the blender, as well as half of the amount of banana you are using and an ice cube. Blend.
Then add the rest of the soy milk, banana, as many or as few cherries as you want, and ice cubes if you desire. Blend away. If you find this not sweet enough add sweetener as you like; but I find this really sweet already.
Serve over ice.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I'm not really a smoothie kind of person, but I really liked this. Probably because I love chocolate and cherries :P Very cool and refreshing, though mine was a bit frothy (darn soy milk). I definitely recommend.
What I did:
I used a bit more than a cup of Silk chocolate soy milk. I used a lot more than 5 cherries, and I really should have put more. I really like cherries, and I didn't really find the cherries to be all that strong, even though I put at least 10 in there. I also used a very ripe banana, which seemed to dominate all the flavours. Next time I'll use one that's not so ripe :P I didn't have to use any sweetener, it was perfect. And I used 4 ice cubes.
Perfect :)
