Banging Banana Pancakes

What you need:

1 cup of all purpose flour
2-3 tablespoons of your preferred vegan sweetner
1/8 tablespoon of baking soda
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 banana thinly sliced
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 cup of rice, soy, or almond milk
maple syrup, fresh fruit, soya whip, or jam for garnish

What you do:

(* note: the amounts for the baking soda and powder have been flipped due to reviewer suggestions. The amounts listed are the correct amounts)
Begin by mixing dry ingredients first, mix well. Add the wet beginning with the oil and vanilla then the milk, I usually use a whisk to incorporate the wet into the dry. Be careful not to over mix you don't want rubbery pancakes. Fold in banana. These cook very well in my cast iron skillet, I coat with cooking spray and drop enough to make small to medium pancakes since these get really big. These are sooo good, its something about bananas and pancake that make a girl think she has died and went to pancake heaven!!! I was thinking about messing around with these like adding peanut, almond, cashew, or macadamia nut butter. Or maybe even blueberries or strawberries oh the possibilities........

SO HOW'D IT GO?

THE RECIPE DOES NOT CALL FOR BAKING SODA THAT IS A MISTAKE. IT SHOULD BE 1/8 TEASPOON OF SALT AND 1-2 TABLESPOONS OF BAKING POWDER.  PLEASE DO NOT USE BAKING SODA!

Bananarama tasties!
If you switch the baking soda/ baking powder measurements, these are amazingly easy & delicious pancakes!
This makes for a great base recipe too. I've thrown in blueberries & on another occasion we added some chopped peaches & mangoes. YUM!!

I followed the recipe, really disappointed.
They were horrid.
I WON'T MAKE THEM AGAIN.

I think that the amounts for baking soda and baking powder have been mixed up! I made this recipe using 1 tablespoon of baking soda and it was horribly bitter! I feel like such a dummy for not realizing beforehand, I will try again later with the reverse amounts.

I done that before making some cookies and it had this weird undescriable taste to it also.  When you try it again let me know how it comes out.
