SO HOW'D IT GO?
These are fantastic! I added in more herbs and I used a combination of buckwheat, whole wheat, and amaranth flours. Will def be making this again, I finished off the whole pan with a kale salad this time. Thanks for the recipe:)
great texture & they were ready so fast! mine turned out pretty bland.. i did a few shakes of parsley and prob a 1/4 tsp of herbs de provence, and 1 tbsp of nutritional yeast. they didnt really have too much flavor to me but were great dipped in lentil soup and they were still good with a layer of apricot jam. i bet they'd be good with some gravy & i wouldn't have guessed that they were oil free if i hadnt made them.
(and they are definitely more biscuits than rolls)
I love making these as they are super quick, delicious, and I typically have everything on hand whenever a fresh-baked-bread-craving comes over me! I figured out the nutritionals - each roll is when made with unsweetened apple sauce is approximately 65 calories, 13g carbs, 1g fiber, 2g protein ;)b
:P
I made it with 1/4 whole rye flour and 3/4 ww flour (as i personally do not like to use white flour). It came out pretty good. I threw flax seeds in it too...yummy.
these turned out pretty good, though more biscuits than roIIs for sure.
the dough is very sticky and not abIe to form into baIIs so they are not necesariIy pretty, but they do taste savory and have a good texture.
i used about 1/8 tsp. sage, thyme and parsIey. On that note i wouId actuaIIy do even Iess sage because it seemed to overwheIm and do more parsIey.
my friend (who isnt vegan and decentIy picky) said they were tasty ;)b
*I accidentaIIy rated it a 3 though i meant to hit 4 :(
