The Best Soft Dinner Rolls

What you need:

200 milliliters nondairy milk (I use rice milk)
50 milliliters water
50 milliliters vegetable oil (I use corn oil)
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
500 grams bread flour
1 package active dry yeast
1 tablespoon nondairy milk
Toasted sesame seeds (optional)

What you do:

This is a bread machine recipe.
1) In your bread maker add the nondairy milk, oil and water. Drop salt in the right corner. Drop sugar in the left corner. Add flour. Make a little well in the center and pour active dry yeast.
2) Press your "Dough" program. When the breadmaker stops to knead the dough, turn it off and drop dough onto a lightly floured surface. Knead lightly with your hands and cut into 12 pieces.
3) Roll each piece into a ball and place onto a lightly greased baking tray. Cover with cloth and allow to rise until double in size (about 1 hour). Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
4) Brush lightly the doubled rolls with milk substitute. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds (if desired). Bake about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. These are absolutely delicious when eaten while still warm!
Very important for using the bread maker: Never allow that sugar and salt touch each other or touch the active dry yeast. They could burn it and dough wouldn't rise well. Always pour first the liquids, then salt and sugar and at last flour and yeast!
Source of recipe: These are our favorite dinner rolls. Super soft, especially when still warm!
