this sounds like a recipe bloodroot in connecticut did several years ago.  they used tempeh and added coriander to the spice mix.  will try this soon.  thanks.

i made this today.  the smell was very similar to cooked eggs, due to the indian black salt, which has a couple sulfur compounds in it. i cooked it for about 10 minutes over a fairly high heat.
