SO HOW'D IT GO?

I tried this smoothie recipe this morning.  It was beautiful.  It was like tasting  heaven in a glass.

I followed the recipe pretty much the way it was written.  I used 1/2 ripe Comice pear, peeled and deseeded, cut into 1" chunks.  1/2 to 3/4 ripe banana, sliced.  The pear and banana together weighed 6 oz. total, or 3 oz. each.  I pureed them with 4 oz. peach nectar my dad had open for breakfast juice.  No apricot available, so I used peach.  Then I quickly added 4 oz. peach soy yogurt we had in the refrigerator.  It was thick and the flavor of the peaches came through.

My parents want me to make a blender of this for our family and let people take out what they want.  We liked it because the fruit was fresh and the smoothie had some protein in it too.  The protein powder in it would add even more to it, but I don't use this ingredient so omitted it.  A healthy food smoothie instead of an ice cream like concoction.

Thanks again!
