Great for late night studying Snacks. You could probably even add some instant coffee to them before you cook them.

Great recipe, but it's even better if you pour Hershey's chocolate syrup (it's vegan, surprisingly) and sprinkles on top when it comes out of the microwave.

These brownies are sooo good.  I am eating some right now and it's just what I needed.  I'm feeling really bad today and it's cold and raining outside.  The only other thing that would make me feel better, is some Purely Decacent vanilla to go with these brownies.

are they gewwy?
i like gewwwy .

Well, I think they were gooey in an odd sort of way..I cooked mine for about 6 mins, like I said, b/c I wanted them to be fairly cooked. My husband had a bit of a problem with the "squishiness."  So, maybe they would be perfect for you! I decided that they might be better with the chocolate chips mixed into the batter..since those were the best part. ; )

I've definitely made better vegan brownies..but these weren't bad for taking less than 10 minutes. I used about 1/2 c applesauce and about a tbs of canola oil. I just "eyeballed" all of the ingredients...and had to add a little soy milk for a better consistency. I ended up microwaving them for about 6 minutes. I don't think they would be very good at all without the chocolate chips. Good for an emergency chocolate craving though! ; )

I'm actually addicted to these.

Wow! At first, I was really mad, because when they came straight out of the microwave, the brownies were fairly nasty, but once they had cooled for a little bit, they were OH SO GOOD! I didn't have a banana, so I substituted 1/2-cup water + 1/4 cup canola oil, and I used canola oil instead of olive oil. These brownies are great, and I will enjoy what's left of them! Thanks for the amazing recipe!

oohh yeah, super good and super fast!  I'm thinking of mixing up the dry ingredients ahead of time so that all I have to do is mash a banana with some oil and vanilla whenever I want brownies.  Awesome recipe--thanks!

I'm not a fan.  The first time I made them, I thought maybe I did something wrong...so i tried again...and they just don't do it for me.  My husband thought they were good, but he'll eat anything.  Quick and easy...yes.  Delicious...not exactly.
