Make Ahead Smoothie Mix

What you need:

2 cups nondairy milk (I use soy)
2 bananas
2 cups frozen berries, thawed

What you do:

1. Blend the above with a blender or mixer and transfer to storage container.
2. Store in refrigerator for up to 3 days.
The mixture will thicken significan'tly, so the portions you don't drink immediately will need to be diluted. To dilute the smoothie, fill half a glass with the made ahead mix and then fill the remainder of the glass with water. Stir well and enjoy.
I devised this recipe because I did not like getting out the blender every morning. I preferred to make it in a batch, but it would become too sweet the next day. I found that replacing the often-called-for soy yogurt with fresh berries and diluting the mix when using later, really helped make the smoothie better.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

Excellent idea!  I kept one batch in the freezer for about 2 weeks, and it tasted fine.  :)
