I just feel like being silly--So I'm starting the Phoebe Buffay fan club! Let's hear the praises for the most well know veg*n television character!

BUT...
Phoebe ate meat when she was pregnant! That's like the worst time ever to eat it! But it was okay because Joey wouldn't eat it?? Very cute but it annoyed me because it perpetuated the idea that vegetarianism is an emotional/moral choice only and has nothing to do with health. >:(
Joey: Hey Phoebe, do you wanna help?
Phoebe: I wish I could but I don't want to.
I also love the fact that her twin Ursula worked in Riff's in Mad About You...and the episode of Friends when they got together...well, not all that together because they hate each other...two of a kind ! (Shudder!)
Reminds me of my first roommate in college...but Phoebe is nicer!

The only thing I can say about this is that they did treat it like she was "craving" the meat--I don't remember them making a big stink like she had to have it in order to have a healthy pregnancy--but you are right--that was the worst time they could have her falling of the veg*n wagon!
Hahaha. I like this. To be honest, I had a love/hate relationship with Phoebe. :) She was really funny sometimes, but then her aloofness bothered me sometimes, too! But I loved that when people would offer her some sort of meat dish or if someone asked her if she wanted a taste of anything with meat, she'd always say, "Nope. Nothing with a face." ;D
I agree JessaCita!! Usually I loveeed Phoebe, but sometimes I was like come onnnn Phoebe!! Hehe I loved when she would go "Ewww, eww!" It's kind of hard to convey on the computer...but you knowwww!
