I love thanksgiving, because I love the eating aspect of it--plus, I'll be on thanksgiving break for a week with my friend in PA. It's gonna be so much fun!

Ooooh this book sounds great! I have always looked forward to Halloween every year but I don't think I'll get to do anything for it this year. Maybe I'll throw a vegan in Berlin Thanksgiving this year.. that could be cool.

I love to celebrate the Holiday of LIFE! If I had to pick one holiday that I liked the best perhaps it would be Thanksgiving, but I give thanks every day when I wake up. Xmas evokes the spirit of giving, but we should keep that spirit with us everyday and recognize those in need are hard pressed 365 days a year, not just 12.  It might be New Year's because it is a time of renewal and we face forward with excitement, and hope everthing will be better than the past year, but we should always look forward, never backwards, don't you think? Perhaps Valentines Days would be the a great holiday to chose because everyone loves love. But we should show love through speech and deed every day.

Every day should be as if we were celebrating a favorite Holiday

But truth be told  my very favorite day is the 4th of July! What better way to celebrate our country and our freedom with good food, good friends, family, parades and lots and lots of firecrackers!!!

My birthday is coming up and I am inviting everybody to join me at my favorite vegan restaurant.  This way I "force" them to dine at a vegan place with me  :P

Thanksgiving I guess.  It is so easy to whine and complain about the bad things in life.  It is good to take a day to realize how placed blessed I am.  My daughter is now old enough that making memories and family traditions is truly possible.
