I also live in Canada, so while it's not an official holiday, every weekend in summer feels like a holiday! You'll see me outside enjoying life with no coat.

My brother and his girlfriend are coming over. Everyone has the day off work so We're finally getting to hang out together. And they're bringing over their new hedgehog that I haven't got to meet yet. I'm pretty excited! I'm probably cooking for everyone, so I'm probably making tamales and lots of iced tea

I will be stocking up my new studio with a bunch of vegan food and trying to make my apartment as sustainable as possible! Possibily going to the beach and hopefully cooking some great grilled portabella sandwiches! :)>>> ;)b :D ;D
Going to a parade with my dad and grandmother, then going out to breakfast hopefully at a vegan friendly place!
I'm gonna be lazy and maybe go see The Hangover 2
I will be moving into a new apartment. Boring but I'm also hoping to make to the veggie restaurant to pick up some food.

....I'm heading up with my fiance to my home state of Iowa to see some folks I haven't seen in a long time. We'll probably do some camping while We're at it.
I will direct the high school band and choir as they perform for the memorial day service at our cemetary. Then, on to a great vegan picnic!

My Memorial Day plans?? Taking it easy since I crashed my motorcycle Saturday evening and spent early Sunday morning in the emergency room. Thankfully no broken bones, but sore from head to toe. I'll need to practice cutting my veggies one handed since I can't lift my left hand above my waist.
I think a little steamed kale and swiss chard with my homemade fat-free dressing will hit the spot....
