Yes, hunting is horrible and I hate how popular hunting is here in Michigan.

I live near Lansing. People are pretty hunting obsessed here but the farther north you go, the more hunting obsessed they get.  >:(

I would agree with that...I was born in Michigan near the Battle Creek area.  The hunting is even worse down here in Texas.  At least up in MI you have to work for it by going out in the woods and tracking.  Here they have farms where animals are grown specifically for hunting.  My boss brags about how he goes and feeds the animals he's going to be shooting.  Makes me want to vomit.  And what's worse is how so many women down here hunt too.

Amen, I totally agree with you on this!

I am a Christian and I don't like that it's basically expected of Christians to be republican (or that people automatically assume I am republican just because I am Christian). I don't care if you are a republican but don't expect me to be and think that I am not a good Christian if I am not republican. I am an independent that tends to sway towards democrat.

@krista & yabbit- me too. I'm Christian, but I still think we need to take care of the planet. Too many people I know just don't even care because they believe that Jesus is coming soon, and it doesn't matter. Makes me upset.
