Aww, you two are too sweet. I've been on/off grabbing a recipe here and there... but I've had no time to play on the boards (oh how tempting they've been). Thank-you for the email, Yabbit. It was so wonderful! I will get back to you soon.
I do miss Duck, though. I hope she comes back soon too. And I haven't seen you in a bit either, firefightress! I'm glad to see you posting. I love you all!

Hi Deuce and thanks! Sorry to disappoint, but this thread is a few months old. I bumped it up after seeing Duckalucky had posted on another thread today and didn't want to hijack that thread. So Idiosglossia's still MIA, although I have seen her logged on once in a while. And yeah, it's always nice to read the great stuff Mizzoukitten and Ungreen share. :)

Hello all... I've been wacky busy with my new job and socializing (since I moved back to the region of my childhood and have high school friends and family here) and that's why you haven't seen me. I do poke my little nose in from time to time and find out what's happening in the world, but I haven't had a moment to sit down. :)
I do love my new job, and it's nice to be home. I've fallen on and off the vegan (and even the vegetarian) wagon and have only just gotten myself back on the ovo-lacto-no, seriously, Mom, I don't eat meat-wagon. I have joined a gym, which makes me feel good (when I go) and shortens my free time (when I go.)
Life is good. I've been birdwatching in spare moments; they're our only "pets" since Pepe passed away. I miss time to cook, read, and think, though! What's new in everyone's neck of the woods?
I see lots of friendly new faces and lots of people I've missed. Hello, hello!!
I do have an utterly unrelated blog I post on ohhh, about once a week. I'll try to make this a regular stop too. Anyway, hugs!

Well, we have missed you a lot, but it's just good to know you're okay. No, better than okay. Sounds like you're great! That's terrific. Didn't realize your move would take you back to your family and childhood.
VegWeb is my social outlet. Sometimes I forget that people have other lives. ;) :D (Btw, the DH and I love birdwatching, too.)

You guys rock. I will definitely be back much more often... I have missed you so much.
Honestly, my move was a 100% transformation of my social life. That's so upsetting, even though it's wonderful too; I am all out of touch and embarrassed about getting that way. :)
