Reasons to smile
I guess not everyone needs to find a reason, but... What made you smile and/or laugh today?
My first LOL of the day was caused by this LOLdog.
I went to the uniform laundry room at work yesterday, to ask if I could try on a size smaller in my trousers. And they fit! The laundry lady asked me if I needed a new shirt, too, so I tried the next size down in that, too. And it fit! Wow. My pants had been slipping down my hips a little for weeks, but last week they got ridiculously slippy. So happy to have confirmation that my body's changing shape/size a little. :iloveyou:
Humming along to the occasional good song at work... it's amazing how much it can lift my mood. ;)b
Overhearing customers' reactions when they can't decide whether flowers are real or not. It's hilarious either way - when they think fake are real, or real are fake. ;D

Lastly, VegWeb is working!! I feel so out of sync with this site..as I'm sure others do. Come back to us, VegWeb.

RTS: The nerve in my neck seems to have unpinched itself. I got up in the night and when I went back to bed, first my neck and then my shoulder joint CLICKED really loudly, almost a crunch. It's still sore but not that stabbing pain I had before. I think it's the natural soreness of having had such a limited range of motion for so long.
Lotus Vegetarian Restaurant in Pinellas Park opened up a couple of weeks ago and I'm finally going tonight!

Just to catch up my loving and amazing friends.. This is what I've been up to over the past few weeks that I've been gone. Ya know..because VegWeb has been crazy.
•I've Skyped with someone who makes me blush and grin like no other person can.
•I was there for that someone who had a rough day after a tourney, helped them readjust and celebrated with them when that readjustment worked.
•I Skyped with jessimaka33's crazy 5 year old (4 times).
•I helped one person with their writing and helped them reframe/rebalance things when they started to freak about their upcoming marriage.
•I was sent a text message by someone who said they like having me as a friend and another friend thinks I'm "awesome". Liars. lol
•One friend even gave me a shout out on her Facebook update for helping her through her day.
•I helped another person when they got upset about changing locations at work and helped another friend who is nervous about starting a new job.
•After talking with my friend Rachel, I realized I've helped several people with homework, essays, books, poetry, therapy, family issues, relationships (sometimes relationships I want to be in), 'coming out' and many other topics.
•I got a real bed..my first piece of real furniture in Portland.
•I helped my mom with her boyfriend problems.
•I got some updates from a friend on her health situation and shared some encouraging words. LFA!
•I got access to one of my friend's rough draft of her book she's writing. According to her, I'm the only friend who's given her genuine and honest feedback.
•I found the Holy Land and it's in Portland, Oregon. It's a little ol' place called, Powell's City of Books. Books and books and books!!!
•I'm kind of turning into a hippie buddhist mix. I've been practicing and preaching a lot of peace, balance, centeredness, inclusion, love and happiness. Hahaha!!
I've also helped, encouraged, and empowered several people through private messages, emails, phone calls, texts, Skype conversations, and in-person conversations. I see no signs of slowing down. I'm grateful and humbled that I can serve as a positive and loving influence in someone's life.
Oh. Yeah.

My BFF is pregnant again! She had a chemical pregnancy last year and this one is good so she is over the moon. She has wanted kids since she was one. I did the "ring test" and as far as I can see, she's carrying a boy, but she's only 8 weeks so I could be totally wrong.
I got a new journal. Not for poetry or for me confessing shit or for me to gossip. My focus will be my philosophies on life. I figure every intellectual writes down his/her philosophies, why not the intellectual writings of JFM? Plus, I know you all are getting bored reading my thoughts. I hope to explore some inspiring territories as I write. :)
