I'm going through a lot of changes right now. Instead of being a teacher this year, I am waiting tables and working in recieving at my favorite hfs (which is cool becuase I get lots of free food!) Anyway, I was actually gonna come on here and say that I won't be around much for a while. My computer died and I can't afford a new one right now, so I am at the mercy of the library. Plus, my work schedules are kinda crazy and sometimes I can't make it to the library. I will check in though! I miss being able to spend hours on vegweb!
So, please don't forget about me! I'll be lurking at least a few times a week, even if I don't have time to post! :)>>> :)>>>

Working in the store is pretty cool. I'm working in receiving right now, and it is HARD!! I'm like carrying and opening boxes all day and stocking shelves. I just keep telling myself that it is exercise. The bonus is my 15% discount on my groceries, plus they "staff" everything that can't be sold, so I get lots of free stuff.
I just read my last reply, and realized that I already posted all that stuff I just typed. Oh well. Anyway.
I would love to go backpacking with you! I'm about 3 1/2 hours from Chapel Hill. Totally let me know if you go for a visit. My best friend's bf is in school there and she goes up every couple weekends. It would be cool to coordinate a trip with her.
Hey guys, just wanted to check in. I'm still using the library, so I dont' have a lot of time. Anyway, I got a call yesterday from one of the district offices in town and the job I was hoping for earlier in the summer opened up again!!!! They offered it to me, and I start tomorrow! Yay! I'm so excited! I was really bummed about not teaching this year. This means, not only did I quit my waitressing job today (ha!) but soon I will be able to buy a new computer and spend hours upon hours on vegweb!!! Yay! I miss you guys so much!

Kelsi, I am going to be teaching elementary music again, just at a different school. It only takes me 10 minutes to get to work now!!!! I am so excited...I used to commute 45 minutes each way. I am a little nervous, because I will be teaching 3 classes of emotionally and/or mentally disabled children. I have never taught any special ed classes...or had any training, for that matter. Anyway, I guess I will figure out what I need to do...hope so, they come in on Monday! Yikes!
