hm. I've seen some pretty convincing cakes in the form of animals or body parts, complete with oozing raspberry or strawberry sauce, for Halloween and such. so depending on what's in that "body", I'd probably go for it just for the novelty of it all.
but yeah. I somehow doubt they serve up guy-bodies at those events.

Heh. To each his own, I guess. It's a bit morbid, a bit amusing, and a bit weird for me all at once.
I must say, it is rather realistic. I'd be interested in the technique for making something like this. Simply because I'm curious (not because I want to make a vegan version!). Even the inside looks pretty real.
This is a bit of a play on using a human body as a "platter" for various foods. Something I happen to enjoy, privately, at home. ;) So, it's not TOO far of a stretch for me.
I think I'd try the above too ... for novelty. Maybe they do make males too. Who knows?

I'd eat a person. Not for fun but in the case of survival... In the case of survival I'd eat anything. DH knows if we're in a plane crash in the Andes he better watch out.

Somehow this reminds me of the "groom's cake" in Steel Magnolias--an armadillo made of Red Velvet Cake "covered with grey icing...I don't even want to think about how you make grey icing.And every time they cut a slice, it's like they're hacking into this poor animal!" Perhaps animal- or person-shaped Red Velvet cakes would make more people think about what they're actually used to eating...
