Central Florida VegFest 2010

Helloooooo ladies....and gentlemen, of course. Well, the date is finalized and this year's Central Florida VegFest will be Saturday, October 23rd at Loch Haven Park (same place as last year). Who's in? I'll be there with my daughter and one of her friends in tow. Would love to see you guys again and maybe some new faces?

Yay....it's Tampa Bay Veg Fest Day!!
I'm sorry we couldn't connect Storm. I hadn't planned on going because a friend who is moving (and dying of cancer) was having a going away party. It was canceled yesterday so I wasn't sure when I would go to VegFest. Looked for you but missed you.
Want to hear your review of the event Storm! All in all for the first annual VegFest it was impressive, even if small. I hope as the years go by it grows. It's so nice to not be the only veg*n freak around and be surrounded by like-minded people. I ate some good food, bought the t--shirt, met some nice people but didn't listen to any speakers. That totally sucks that we missed each other! I got there right at 10:00am. I thought it was totally awesome! A bit smaller than the Central Florida one I went to last year, but not by that much and considering the turn out I'm guessing this definitely won't be the last one for Tampa! We were only there for a couple of hours because my daughter's friend said she didn't feel well and they both started whining about the heat.....next year I'll be leaving them at home!
Glad to hear you liked it Storm. I thought it was a good start and look forward to more annual events. I thought the weather was perfect, considering early October is usually in the 90s still, but did get a little warm. I was definately there after you left then, around noonish...must have just missed you.
That looks like it was a lot of fun. I can't wait for the central florida vegfest this month. ;D

If anyone missed Tampa's and Orlando's Veg fest, the First Annual NORTHEAST FLORIDA VEG FEST is just two weeks away! It will be in downtown Jacksonville, and there will be carpools going from Orlando!

I actually made it to Vegfest yesterday. I had an awsome Meatball Sub from Ethos Vegan Kitchen :) It made my day :) And VEGAN TWINKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG they were so goooooooooooooooddddddddddddddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want some more :) I thought it was nice but, I thought there would be more vendors. I bought the shirt and I bought my son a shirt and I bought a cookbook and like six or seven twinkies :) I never even like regular twinkies because they are gross but, I need to look for a reipe on the twinkies adios :)
