Teriyaki Marinated Tofu Veggie-Apple Stir Fry
1/4 package (1 piece) of teriyaki-marinated firm tofu or regular firm tofu (88g)
1 small onion
1 small apple
1/2 cup green pepper
1/4 cup cauliflower
soya sauce
vegetable oil
any other vegetables or spices you may want to add
Gather all the ingredients and a nice non-stick frying pan!
Put a little bit of Vegetable Oil in the pan, turn on the burner of the stove, and let the oil warm up a bit.
Slice the PC Teriyaki Tofu (or regular firm/extra firm tofu) into small cubes. If you're using the marinated tofu, save the excess marinade, you'll use it later!
Slice the onion into small pieces. Put the tofu and onions into the frying pan, and let the tofu cook until its a nice golden brown on all sides, periodically stirring and flipping the tofu!
While you're waiting for the tofu to cook, slice up the other veggies into pieces you find most desirable. also, cut up the apple into small pieces or cubes. Once the Tofu is nice and brown, throw in the other veggies! Add a dash of soya sauce and pour on the extra marinade and stir good!
Once everything is coated in soya sauce and marinade, throw in the sliced apple, and stir until it is coated and a bit warm. Take off of the burner, serve, and enjoy!
I make a lot of variations of this recipe, so feel free to add rice, take away the apple (I stole the apple idea from a friend, who said it takes away the salty-ness of the soya sauce, and I thought it was good, so props to him!), or do anything to make this your own! Also, you can make bigger portions by multiplying everything by two, three, etc., which you already know. Woo!
SO HOW'D IT GO?
