Start Your Day Right Oatmeal

What you need: 

1/2 cup quick oats
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 tablespoon molasses
1/2 banana, mashed
1 tablespoon flax meal
1/2-1 cup nondairy milk

What you do: 

1. Put oats, water, peanut butter, and molasses in a bowl and microwave for about a minute, or until water is absorbed and oats are soft.
2. Stir in mashed banana, then flax meal.
3. Top with soy/almond milk and enjoy.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I make this ALL the time. Love it! Very good with chocolate peanut butter, maple almond butter, it is just plain good.

This is super!! I've been having it every morning!
For mine I didn't use the flax, and used all water instead of non dairy milk, It was still delicious!
Definite staple recipe!!!

Fast and healthy oatmeal. Quite tasty - highly recommend this for a good weekday morning breakfast.

shea - i just have to ask, are you making EVERY oatmeal recipe on here and photographing it???  thats quite ambitious if you are..i ask because ive noticed all your oatmeal photos...
with regard to oatmeal, i have it almost every morning...cold or hot with various fruits/nuts/sweetners added...and sometimes add some cocoa too:)
