Quinoa Muesli

What you need: 

1/2 cup quinoa

1 cup water

1/4 cup raisins or other diced dried fruit

1/8 cup chopped pecans or slivered almonds




What you do: 

Heat the water to boiling.  Add qiunoa and boil 1 minute. Cover and turn off heat and allow to steam until quinoa is fully cooked.  Stir in the dried fruit and nuts.

Serve in a bowl.  Sweeten with your sweeetener of choice.  Add a dash of cinnamon if desired. Add almond milk or alternative.

Note: This tastes great cold also!  My kids like it far better than oatmeal.
