Peanut Butter Banana Shake

What you need:

1 fresh banana
1 1/2 cup vanilla rice milk
1-2 tablespoon smooth peanut butter
2-3 ice cubes

What you do:

Put all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth.
I also add fat-free, flavored, non dairy creamers for variation. Vanilla flavor is yummy!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I'm sort of a "smoothie noob" and this looked like a good safe recipe to try out. I've been making it for my breakfasts this week, and really enjoying it. I add about an ounce of walnuts for a little extra nutrition. I will say that for anyone looking for a super-sweet beverage, this isn't it. There is some sweetness, but if you need a little more, just a bit of agave does the trick. :)

Okay, as promised, I made this shake/smoothie this morning and it was DELIGHTFUL. Tasty and filling! I have no idea how much of anything I used, but I used a mixture of almond and rice milk and added some ground flax before blending. Tomorrow, it's being made with almond butter! Oh yeah!

Oh, I am not cool! I wanted a smoothie this morning and the only fruit I had was a banana...I could have made this!!! Booooo. I didn't even think about peanut butter (it's early!)

I will make this tomorrow morning, for sure! Thanks!

I just made this and it was beautiful! :D I used soya milk instead of rice milk and only put one cup in. I'll be making this one again.

I added a little more banana, because my bananas were slightly smaller, a bit less milk and a small amount of chocolate syrup. This shake is great :)

Try vanilla or chocolate almond milk and add a tablespoon of maple syrup. It's unbelievable!
