Pan Con Tomato

What you need:

1 really crusty baguette
3 large tomatoes
2 cloves garlic
olive oil
salt to taste

What you do:

Slice baguette in half lengthwise.
Cut tomatoes in half.
Cut garlic in half and rub all over the sliced baguette halves.
Squeeze tomatoes all over the baguette to get the juices and seeds and insides on the baguette.
Drizzle olive oil generously on the baguettes.
Slice baguettes halves into 3 pieces each = six pieces.
Sprinkle with salt and enjoy!
This is simple and delicious and makes the perfect snack or side! So much better than garlic bread.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

The Catalan name for this recipe is Pa amb Tomaquet and it is a staple there, I had this for breakfast this morning and I encourage others to try it.
