"Honey" Roasted Chick Peas (Garbanzo Beans)

What you need: 

1 can Garbanzo Beans

1/2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp agave syrup

1 tsp cinnamon (to taste)

1/2 tsp nutmeg (to taste)

1/2 tsp sea salt (to taste)

What you do: 

1) Preheat oven to 350 F

2) rinse can of garbanzo beans and lay on towel until fairly dry

3) put garbanzo beans on a cookie sheet covered in aluminum foil and bake for about 35-40 minutes or until they're crispy (can't poke a fork through)

4) mix garbanzo beans in oil, agave, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until thoroughly coated

5) can bake for another 10 minutes to caremelize or just eat as is :)

SO HOW'D IT GO?

Very tasty. If you want it crunchier, I have a slight variation on the recipé that you might find enjoyable:

Rather than using canned chick peas, soak 1 cup of dried chick peas in hot water for about 40 minutes. Drain and rinse, bake for about 30 minutes. Everything else is the same.

Sounds awesome!  How hard do they get? (you really can't poke a fork through them?)
