Green Goblin (or Garden Princess?) Smoothie
What you need:
1/2 avocado
1 banana
3/4 cup water
4-6 ice cubes
1/8 cup unrefined sugar (optional)
What you do:
This sweet tasting smoothie is nutrient dense and very rich and filling - great for breakfast or as a pre-homework snack.
Puree all ingredients in blender and serve!
Tip: You may want to throw the avocado in when the kids aren't looking :)
Variation: For extra nutritional value try using vanilla soymilk in place of the water, adding a little nutritional yeast or some ground flax seeds.
