Fresh and Light Pasta with Vegetables

What you need: 

3 cups penne pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 gloves minced garlic
1/2 small white onion, diced
1/2 cup chopped red pepper
1 can chick peas
1 1/2 cup chopped spinach

What you do: 

In a medium skillet, sautee garlic and onion in the oil over medium heat. Once onions appear translucent, add red pepper and let cook for about 5 minutes. Add chick peas while stirring ingredients.
Add the spinach and pasta to skillet. Toss for five minutes or until spinach is cooked down.
Salt and pepper to taste and enjoy!
