Floating Balloons Dessert

What you need:

1 cup of sticky rice flour
2 1/4 cups of water
1 cup of coconut milk
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
water for boiling

What you do:

In a mixing bowl, combine sticky rice flour and 3/4 cup of water. Mix thoroughly and roll into small balls, about 1/2 inch in diameter.
In a soup pot, get water boiling.
Meanwhile, in another soup pot, add 1 1/2 cups water, sugar, and salt, and bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Add the coconut milk, and let boil for 1 minute.
Drop the balls into the first pot, and boil for 4 minutes (when cooked, the balls will float).
Lift the balls out with a strainer, transfer to the second pot, and stir gently to mix. Serve warm.
This is one of my all time favorite snacks, and I hope you guys enjoy it, too! Tell me how this went for you guys, 'cause I'm really curious. Thanks!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

AliAli009, you have really good recipes. This, like your Tapioca Combo dessert, was delicious! I had this for breakfast one day too, and it made my day a heck of a lot better! ::)

I forgot to say, you can get sticky rice flour at an Asian food store, but if you're lucky, you can find it at your local foods store. Some health-food stores sell them, too (in the baking or Ethnic food section).
