Fava Beans Recipe
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes*
1/4 teaspoon cumin*
1 teaspoon oregano*
pinch black pepper*
pinch ground cloves*
salt, to taste
1 cup cooked lima or fava beans, rinsed and drained if canned
fresh cilantro, for garnish
*or 2 teaspoons Mexican chili mix
1. Saute the onion and then the garlic in the oil. Once they are soft, add the tomatoes and spices.
2. Season with salt. Add the beans, and let this simmer for at least 10 minutes, or as long as you like.
3. Garnish with cilantro and serve.

SO HOW'D IT GO?
I cut back on the tomato juice, because of the other review, but it was still way too mushy. Maybe it could be converted into a stew? Anyways, I wasn't a fan.
This did not turn out for me. It was too soupy and the flavor was weird.
