Dank Green's chickpea black bean burgers
2 (15 ounce) cans garbanzo beans
1 (15 ounce) can black beans
1 onion, finely chopped
6-9 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup fresh parsley
3 tablespoons cilantro
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon coriander
1 tablespoon cumin
2 teaspoons dried red pepper flakes
6 tablespoons flour (about 1/3 cup)
1 tablespoon baking powder
salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons flaxseeds, optional
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Crush garbanzo beans and black beans into a mush. Mix.
2. Mix thoroughly in a bowl with all other ingredients.
3. Cook in the oven 15-20 minutes, on each side, or until they look done.
Enjoy! You will absolutely love this recipe. Serve like you would a hamburger or eat it by itself! Especially good with sprouts on top.
