Cashew Banana Shake

What you need: 

1/3 cup raw cashews
1-2 tablespoon maple syrup or agave nectar
1 teaspoon vanilla
pinch of salt
1 cup (or a bit more) water, rice milk, almond milk, or soy milk
1 frozen banana
optional: 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom or 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

What you do: 

Put cashews in blender, and grind to a fine flour. Add maple syrup or agave, vanilla, salt, milk, and optional spice. Blend until mixed. Add frozen banana, and blend until smooth. Enjoy!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

this rules! i halved the cashers and added a bit of flaxmeal to this. also omitted the sweetener and added an extra banana :)
