4 to 6 cloves garlic
1/4 to 1/3 cup olive oil
2 cups tomato puree
1/2 pound spinach leaves (1 bunch)
10 fresh basil leaves
1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1. Add garlic, oil, and tomato puree to blender. Add spinach a handful at a time.
2. Begin to puree the mixture a little bit at a time. Proceed with the rest of the spinach until it is all in and pureed. Add parsley and basil.
3. Pour the sauce from the blender into a saucepan. Heat through. I suggest just heating it long enough to get it hot.
Toss with any pasta!
