SO HOW'D IT GO?
it taste so delicious but a bajillion times better with a cinnamon stick instead of the grounded cinnamon
This stuff is good and super easy to make. Just made some. The only thing I changed was used vanilla almond milk and left out the vanilla extract like some others did I see. Very yummy!
Tasty, and cheap for me to make! (Just as good as those vegan hot cocoa mixes!)
I used 1 cup of vanilla almond milk, so I left out the vanilla extract. Really good--the only thing I managed to mess up was that I didn't pay as much attention and I let the pot boil over.
I have a feeling I'll be making this a lot this winter.
Oooooh I love the idea of omitting the cocoa to make a steamer! I will have to try that! Thanks!
This was SOOOOO good!!!
Thank you for this easy simply recipe that did not disappoint!
I tried a cocoa recipe last fall and it was horrible...but I miss it so much...
I actually tried a regular swiss miss instant package and it was yucky too!
I was determined to find a vegan recipe that would satisfy and found it!
I took the advice of halving it to make it less rich and was pleased.
1 TBL cocoa 1 TBL sugar 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup soymilk vanilla and cinammon
Now I can really enjoy the coming fall and winter with a steaming cup of vegan cocoa!
Yay!
MmmmMmmm... this was yummy!! ;)
Yesterday I followed the recipe exactly but used vanilla soy milk along with the suggested vanilla extract. It was so rich and creamy!
Then today I omitted the cocoa and used extra vanilla and came up with a delicious steamer... so great on a cool morning
mmmm! This was great! I love the idea of putting cinnamin in too!
Ok- nevermind about my question! I just googled it and apparently there are some brands of gelatin free marshmallows! I need to try some with this recipe ASAP :)
This is sooo good!
I used Vanilla Silk instead of plain. & left out the van extract.
After I poured it in my cup, I added a little more milk to cool it down a bit & fill it to the top of my mug!
I did burn my tongue, but it was worth it ;)
This is probably a silly question- but vegan marshmallows? Do they exist?
;)b
Oh man, I was craving something chocolaty. Problems is I am trying not to eat so much crap and I am crazy broke right now. I had some unsweetened Almond milk, Cocoa powder, sugar, and vanilla. Not only a treat for me but enough for my boyfriend too!
I love the green and blacks hot cocoa but it is super expensive. This was pretty much as good and maybe a tenth of the cost. We can all use some tips to save money right now.
