Cashew cheese spread

What you need: 

 

-2 cups of raw organic cashews
-add 2 Tsp of light miso
-1 tsp of marmite (optional)
-nutritional yeast or turmeric powder
-some chipotle pepper powder and/or herbs (oregano, parsley, mix,...)
-salt
 
What you do: 

 

Soak two cups of raw organic cashews in water for two hours

Then in a bowl put the cashews with some of the water they soaked and blend everything (ingredients ) together in a food processor till thickened. You can improvise the recipe to your liking....:)

Put mixture in a bowl and cover with a kitchen towel, then put in the oven with the pilot light on for 12 hrs (or more as needed for bitterness) to ferment the cheese...!!

Then voila your cheese is done....and it keeps in the freezer for months....!!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I love it and have been addicted to it for months. I use it everyday for breakfast with horseradish vegenaise, kelp, garlic salt, margerine, and sliced cucumber in a bun. Hope you will too.....:)
