Vegan Bean Quesadilla

What you need: 

1 flour tortilla
1/2 cup refried beans
1 tablespoon taco sauce
2 teaspoons vegan margarine

What you do: 

1. Spread the beans on the flour tortilla. Spread the taco sauce over the beans.
2. Fold the tortilla in half, making it look like a quesadilla.
3. Heat a skillet over medium temperature, and melt the vegan margarine.
4. Place the quesadilla on the skillet, flip over when a golden-yellowish color. It's finished when both sides are a golden color.

Where can you get taco sauce and does it come as a liquid?

You can get it at any grocery store in the "ethnic foods" section or wherever they keep the tortillas, salsa, etc. I think Taco Bell and Old El Paso make it. And yes, it does come as a liquid. Hope that helps! :-)

This was a very simple recipe and it turned out great! I used some left over burrito filling I had (basically just a mixture of refried beans, spanish rice and tomatoes) and taco sauce. yummm.... Thank you!

I just made these for dinner, and they were fantastic!

Definitely a recipe for the books.
