Seitan "beef" stew

What you need: 

1 cups seitan strips (I use a package of Westsoy brand, actually comes out to 5/6 cups)

1/3 cup chopped white onion

1/2 cup cubed potato

6 chopped baby carrots

3 cups water

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp white pepper

3 cubes vegetable boullion (I use Maggi)

3 tbsp white flour

What you do: 

Place water and boullion in small pot

Place stove on 3/4 of high

As water warms, dissolve cubes

Add vegetables, seitan, and spices

Bring to boil and then take down to simmer

Mix flour with small amount of cool water, then stir into soup

Simmer about 45 minutes or until vegetables are soft and thickness is how you like.
