1/4 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 teaspoon salt
nonstick spray
chocolate chips, to taste

What you do:

1. Grease a small microwave safe dish. In a bowl, mix together the banana, sugar, olive oil, and vanilla.
2. Stir in the flour, cocoa, and salt. Put prepared dish. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
3. Microwave on high for 4 to 5 minutes (depending on how gooey you like them). Adjust the cooking time based on the power of your microwave.
Great for late night studying Snacks. You could probably even add some instant coffee to them before you cook them.

These brownies are so fabulous! I made them for my friends and I while we were studying and they were a huge hit! Thanks  :)

These turned out fairly well!

Not as creamy & gooey as I like my brownies, but they hit the spot for my snack fix tonight. I would make these in a pinch again, definitely!

I topped mine with PB.  Tasty topping, just a bit too banana-y.  I'll cut back on it next time.  Can't wait to try it with the choc. chips.

Mmmmmm!!!

I made these a few times when I was watching dvd's in my bed witha flu, and I dunno if it was my flu-y cooking skills or the recipie, but mine turned out like banana sponge. I loved the taste, but even though I just had them in the nuke machine for like 2 mins, the were really spongy, and I like my brownies sticky and uncooked...
Anyone else had a spongy mishap with their cake?

Just realised I probably used far too much cocoa than called for (but who cares!)  ;D

What the... I tell you, I absolutely SUCK at baking or anything that requires measurements and whatever but..

I'm either wrong or this recipe rocks! I used canola oil, date syrup for sugar, touch of soy and water cause the mix didn't look right, oatmeal w/ some whole oats for all the flour, mic'd for 40 secs to begin with to see how it was going and then decided it could do with abt another 2 mins, AND halved the recipe. left out the vanilla too. and salt (forgot). what surprised me most was how it was like you melted a chocolate fudgy bar thing type confectionary in there or something. :D what i wanna know is why use an oven when you can get better brownies out of a microwave?! next i'mma gonna use applesauce for the oil as well.
I want to make sweet sweet gooey-chocolatey-brownie covered love to the person who posted this recipe.

So I'm completely in the minority here, but...I really wasn't impressed.  Certainly quick and easy, and with ingredients already on hand, but it still wasn't worth it to me.  I tossed it after just a couple bites.

Mmm satisfied my chocolate craving last night.

I threw in a handful of flour, oats, and brown sugar. Added 2 spoonfuls of applesauce, a couple spoonfuls of cocoa powder, splash of vanilla soymilk, and a pat of earth balance. Microwaved for 30 seconds, stirred butter in, cooked for maybe 2-3 minutes longer? It was gooey and batter-y and I loved it.

So didn't use banana or choc chips or oil, but I still have this recipe to thank. Perfect quick fix.

These are really good!
You don't even have to measure the ingredients.(I never do)
I added some instant coffee and just mushed the bannana in BIG chunks.
I don't cook these though.
I just eat the dough. =D
:D these make me  ;D happy
