Banana-Date Breakfast Shake

What you need: 

1 Banana
2-3 Medjool Dates (or any kind), pits removed
1 to 1 1/2 cups Rice Milk

What you do: 

Put banana and dates in blender. Add a small amount of rice milk and blend for 1 minute. Add remainder of milk and blend for 1 more minute. Drink up! This liquid breakfast is healthy and delicious. Try experimenting with different fruits.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

This was excellent.  I planned on sipping on it but ended up gulping it down after my first sip.  I'm going to try a little nutmeg in it next time.  Very easy, yummy recipe.  Thanks.

I added less milk because I like my shakes thick. I would recommend blending the date in the milk first before adding the banana.

Gotta love dates :-* I had extra long bananas so I added 1 more date, 1 cup more milk ( I used soy ) and last moment, to make more, added a big splash of organic apple juice, not from concentrate. It was more like a thick juice, and it was so tasty!
My three year old loves counting the dates in ;D
