Good Hot ChocolateIngredients (use vegan versions): approx. 1 pint (475 ml) of soy milk
3/4 oz (23 grams) dark chocolate (mine was 70% cocoa, so amount may need adjusted
depending on chocolate)
couple of spoonfuls of natural sugar
few dashes of cinnamon
a dash of 807]
cornstarch[/url] (which is probably unnecessary, but I threw some in anyway)
Directions:Mix the sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch in a saucepan.
Add enough soy milk to mostly dissolve the sugar. Heat on med-low stirring every thirty seconds or so. (I tend more towards keeping the heat at medium, because I'm impatient. But there is probably more of a chance that something will burn that way.)
Break the chocolate up a bit and add it to the sugar mixture when it starts to get warm. Let the chocolate begin to melt.
Stir vigorously until mixture appears smooth and hot. Add the rest of the soy milk and stir well and frequently until warm enough.
Pour into mugs and consume.
