a little sweet, mildly spiced. Much quicker than stewing beans forever.

Definitely more of a stew than a soup. Pretty mildly spiced.
faunablues added a comment on the recipe Vegan Lasagna Noodle Soup:
very rich, creamy, savory, and thick. Because of how thick it gets, I had to keep a close eye on it to prevent it from burning (some still did, but was still delicious).

I knew this would be kind of strange, and it was, but not bad. Even with the spices, it's hard to forget that you're eating pasta in hot juice.
Pretty enjoyable. It has a good balance of spices and was moderately spicy because I used hot salsa.
faunablues added a comment on the recipe Grilled Tofurky Cheese Sandwich:
Good idea. I left out spinach (that's my "to taste," haha) and sliced some Daiya for the cheese. The tomato definitely adds something extra, and it's a good use of tofurky.

A simple but very tasty soup; the coconut milk really makes it. I puréed part of the soup and didn't use cornstarch. Generally magical.
faunablues added a comment on the recipe No-Mayo Potato Salad :
I couldn't get malt vinegar, so I used part rice vinegar and part red wine vinegar.

Pretty simple, kind of sweet. The vinegar and bell pepper make it refreshing and summer-y.

Hmm, I didn't really like this. I was considering not adding the rice at all, and wish I hadn't - it wound up being really bland.
