Super Easy Cheesy Alfredo Sauce
What you need:
1/4 cup vegan butter
1/2 cup vegan cream cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 cup vegan creamer (I use soy)
1/2 cup vegan parmesan cheese
What you do:
1. On low heat, melt butter in a small to medium saucepan. Add cream cheese and whisk while it melts.
2. Mix in garlic powder amd creamer. Lastly, whisk in parmesan cheese and continue cooking for a few more minutes.
3. Remove pan from heat and and allow sauce to thicken.
I poured this over 3 1/2 cups cooked pasta and mixed in some sun-dried tomatoes. Broccoli or asparagus would be other great additions.

SO HOW'D IT GO?
Awesome, will be making again...
This was fanastic and so easy! I didn't have creamer, so used organic soy milk in place of and it turned out wonderful! I only used about half the amount of soy milk as called for creamer, did add a bit more garlic than called for, and added sea salt and black pepper, too. Thank you for such a wonderful recipe! :)
Just tried this tonight. I didn't have vegan parmesan (it's just too expensive and hard to come by) nor do I have vegan creamer (just used soy milk, don't even think we have creamer in Australia, and I'm still not sure what a creamer actually is!). I have to admit this sauce is very heavy I'm struggling to get through at least half of my pasta, and at times I can still taste the tofutti in it :( I know dairy Alfredo is also heavy, but I find this version very heavy on my tummy. Perhaps if I had the vegan parm, this would've helped mask the tofutti flavour (which isn't horrible, but it tastes more like a cream cheese sauce rather than an alfredo-esque sacue). I added a little nutmeg to the sauce for an extra flavour boost, and for me it helped. Thankyou for submitting this recipe but it's not my cup of tea, I was really hoping I'd love it because it sounded super easy and simple. Sorry! :(
This was sooooo amazing!!! This is gonna be my new go to recipe for Alfredo sauce!!! :)>>> Thank you!!!
