super easy Bean and Rice burger patties

What you need: 

2 cups brown rice, cooked
1 can (15 ounces) vegan refried beans (I use pinto)
1/2 onion, minced
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ground flax (Not necessary, but for nutrition)
1 tablespoon water (if you use the flax)
Cooking spray

What you do: 

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Sauté onion and garlic in pan with a light spray of cooking spray until onions are translucent.
2. Add onion mixture, beans, rice, and seasoning to a mixing bowl. Mix all ingredients thoroughly. If you use the flax, mix the flax with the water, and then add the mixture to the bean and rice mixture.
3. Heat saute pan over medium heat and lightly spray with cooking spray. Form bean mix into patties and brown each side in the pan. Put the patties on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
