SO HOW'D IT GO?

My husband made them with sweet potatoes and they came out a little mushy. But, the favor on these fries was fantastic.

Even though the texture wasn't ideal, the flavor was great and we fought over who would take the leftovers to work!

Will definitely try making them again.

These were good.  I scaled the recipe down for 1 serving.  There is a nice spice at the end but not really while you are eating them.  I did not use the olive oil but they were still get, just not as crispy.  These are a keeper.

This was very good, though to prevent sticking and having to shake the tray, I brush the oil onto the pan. My mother has been making these for as long as I can remember and now I can make them too :) Thanks.

made these at a "grill out" for myself and some meatatarian friends and everyone LOVED them. We like spicy stuff so I added a little extra cayenne to move the flavor up from a "little kick" to a friggin "can-can." Went great with the black bean burger recipe from this site.

I made these for the first time 2 weeks ago and I have made them twice since!  There are really really good.

The combination of spices if just right for my taste - but I did use much less salt, just a sprinkling and that was perfect.  Half a tablesppon would have been too salty for me.

I have used this with sweet potatoes too and they was also really good.  I think I'll try parsnip and carrot next.
