Special Fruit Salad

What you need:

8 to 10 organic strawberries, sliced
1 to 2 small clementines (a variety of mandarin orange), peeled and sectioned
1/2 small bunch of grapes
1/2 cup mixed raw nuts and/or seeds
1 to 2 tablespoons unsweetened dry coconut
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
raw organic agave nectar, to taste

What you do:

1. Divide all fruit and nuts evenly into four small bowls.
2. Sprinkle with coconut and cinnamon.
3. Lightly drizzle agave nectar over the mixture. (It is REALLY sweet!) Serve immediately.
*This is called Special Fruit Salad, in that it differs from regular fruit tossed into a bowl...my kids thought this recipe was Special!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

Love this recipe!! What a great fruit salad. I did use some substitutions:
-Blueberries for grapes (on sale!)
-Tangelos for clementines
-Maple syrup for agave nectar
-Sweetened coconut for unsweetened
... And I just plain forgot the nuts/seeds. I served it at a party and it was a big hit! Delicious! Just don't make it more than an hour or so in advance - the berries get softer when they sit longer. I will definitely make it again.
