Raw Backpacking Power Bars

What you need: 

1 cup raw almond butter
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/4 cup ground flax
1/4 cup ground pecan
1/4 cup dates
Pinch of salt (if almond butter is unsalted)

What you do: 

1) Combine all ingredients in a food processor and mix until pasty.
2) Form into bars on a mesh sheet for your dehydrator and dehydrate at 95 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour OR refrigerate for an hour. Source of recipe: I made this up

SO HOW'D IT GO?

This is more healthier than the power bars we get to buy from the stores, which contains a lot of preservatives and other synthetic ingredients. The advantage of this one is that, we could decide the ingredients and the quantity.
